The estimates are in for Kanye, Nicki, Lloyd Banks and Jay-Z…
Next weeks sales projections are in, and Kanye West is on track to top the charts once again. According to the industry insiders at hitsdailydouble.com, Mr. West’s critically-acclaimed new album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, is estimated to sell around 525,000 to 575,000 copies in its first week on shelves, based off the one-day sales figures. If true, these numbers will surpass Yeezy’s last disc, 808s and Heartbreak—which sold about 450,100 .
Nicki Minaj and Lloyd Banks are also set to impact The Billboard Top 200 next Wednesday (December 1). The Young Money Princess’s debut Pink Friday is projected to sell in the area of 375,000 to 425,000 while the G-Unit soldier’s The Hunger for More 2 is believed to move about 40,000 to 50,000 units.
Jay-Z’s The Hits Collection, Vol. 1 will also make it’s way onto to the charts with an estimated 25,000 to 30,000 in sales.
Stay tuned to XXLMag.com on Wednesday morning for the official Nielsen SoundScan numbers.

Pink Friday, the debut album from Young Money emcee Nicki Minaj, is the culmination of an intense promotion campaign and tremendous hype. Labeling herself as “The best b***h doing it”, the Queens native's album was highly anticipated, unique detour in a genre which has its share of regular monotony. Nicki’s style is unique and creative – this we know after hearing her on numerous tracks and singles. However, can all the hype sustain Pink Friday?
Kanye West takes the cover the December/January 2011 issue of Complex magazine. The publication also spoke with the contributors for Yeezy’s album focusing on their roles in their Project: Runaway feature. Below is an excerpt from Pete Rock:
“I know one of Kanye’s bodyguards, and he told me that Kanye was looking for me. I just grabbed this bag of discs—these discs hold at least 50 beats apiece—and went to Hawaii. [Laughs.] That was my first time ever going to Hawaii, so I was blown back by the weather and the beach. It’s a beautiful environment to make music in. I immediately said to myself, ‘This is why he’s here!’ No one bothers you and you’re free as a bird; an important part of being creative is being able to be free in a good environment where you can make music and there’s no interruptions or disturbance or anything. When I got there, Kanye was in the chair in the studio getting his hair cut. He played the ‘Power’ song from before he even put the lyrics on it and he was spittin’ the lyrics to me. I’m real critical of emcees, but when I hear Kanye spit, it opens me up like a flower, man. I used to hear him spit my name in his own records before he even got with me, and I used to say to myself, ‘Damn, he says my name in more than two or three records! Maybe he’s trying to let me know he wants to work with me.’ The studio kind of reminded me of back in the days when I used to work on three or four projects at once, doing it all in the studio. That’s what he was doing—running back and forth from room to room to room to room. He had Kid Cudi upstairs, he was working on his album downstairs, then doing a mix on another record, and it straight reminded me of what I used to do back in the ’90s. He played ‘Runaway’—and as soon as I heard the drums come in, I just started laughing. He used my drums from Mecca and the Soul Brother! I used these drums in an interlude before this record called ‘The Basement,’ and those drums come on before the song. I never heard anybody make a song the way he made it out of those drums. I thought that was genius.”

Police say Kenneth Bonds committed a crime against fashion.
Law enforcement officials in Memphis, Tenn., believe the 45-year-old shot a 17-year-old in the buttocks after getting into an argument with the teen over his baggy trousers.
According to MyFoxMemphis.com, the incident occurred after Bonds confronted the victim and his 16-year-old friend and ordered the pair to pull up their sagging pants on Sept. 25.
The teens -- who were on their way to buy candy -- refused, and Bonds allegedly shouted a profanity at the duo and demanded they "do what he told them to do" because he is an adult, according to an arrest affidavit obtained by TheWeeklyVice.com.
The victim and his friend reportedly called Bonds a "fat ass" and continued heading toward the candy store.
After the teens made their purchases, they passed Bonds again. But by that time, the suspect had allegedly retrieved a handgun from his home.
Police say Bonds fired several shots, striking the 17-year-old once in the rear end.
The victim was treated and released from a local hospital, and Bonds was arrested after getting picked out of a police line up.
He has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault.
Comedian Chelsea Handler's sex tape is about to leak anytime now according to RadarOnline.
The tape was reportedly made 10 years ago when Chelsea was trying to break into showbiz, and according to Handler, was a joke.
The tape starts with her telling a few stand up jokes in an apartment. The next thing you know, Chelsea is on all fours, butt naked, taking backshots from some guy with an British accent.
"I would like to say to RadarOnline.com, thanks for ruining my surprise Christmas gift to my staff, and number two, it was made as a joke,” Chelsea said on her show 'Chelsea Lately' when the story initially broke.
“I put it on an audition tape for a comedy club, because I'm a comedienne, and I've been showing it at birthday parties for f**king years!"
From the couple of photo stills that are online, this doesn't look like any joke I've ever seen.
Radaronline is suggesting she accidently taped over a sex tape, because right after the brief X-rated scene, the video cuts right back to her stand up routine.
After being shopped around for several months, the tape has been purchased and Handler will join KimKardashian, Pamela Anderson and Paris Hilton as female celebrities with a XXX film out.
The comedienne just hosted the MTV Video Music Awards last Sunday and her career is doing quite well. I doubt this tape will do anything but make her even more popular
Check out the beginning part of the tape below where Chelsea is telling a few bad jokes. She's gotten a hell of lot funnier since then.
A jealous boyfriend stabbed his partner to death after she accidently blurted out the name of another man as they had sex. Gary Higgs, 44, flipped when his girlfriend suddenly cried out, 'Chris' as they made love in their bedroom.
Enraged, he stormed downstairs, grabbed a chef's knife from the kitchen and stabbed Joanne Kitchen once in the back and once in the chest.
Afterwards as she lay dying from her wounds, Higgs throttled the 41-year-old to death with the electrical flex of their alarm clock.
When police caught up with him he confessed:'I asked her why she said "Chris" but she said she must have been thinking about her daughter's boyfriend Chris.
'It didn't make any sense to me and I was getting more angry. Why was she thinking about her daughter's boyfriend when we were having sex?
'I couldn't get things out of my mind. I didn't know exactly what I was thinking. I picked the knife up and carried it upstairs to the bedroom.
'I don't remember thinking I wanted to harm Jo at this time. I was just so mad. I am truly deeply sorry for what I have done.'
Yesterday Higgs was jailed for life for the murder and told he must serve a minimum of 15 years before he will be considered for release.

All signs continue to point toward the eventual divorce between Carmelo Anthony and the Denver Nuggets.
League sources say it is now a matter of when, not if, Anthony and the Nuggets will go their separate ways.
Anthony is weighing whether to sign a three-year, $65 million extension offered by the Nuggets. His dilemma, league sources say, is what affords him the best chance of continuing his career elsewhere. Anthony could sign with Denver and convince the team to then trade him. His other option would be to not sign the extension, thereby forcing the team to move him rather than risk losing him next summer as a free agent.
During his annual basketball camp in Colorado on Saturday, Anthony said he had no timetable on when he'll decide whether to sign the extension.
In either case, "he's going to make it real clear that he's not coming back," said one league source.
But both Nuggets owner Stan Kroenke and Anthony already are well aware that they don't have a future together, sources say. That became clear to Kroenke at a reception after Anthony's July 11 nuptials to La La Vasquez in Manhattan.
A series of toasts at the wedding reception, initiated by New Orleans Hornets guard Chris Paul, suggested Anthony leave Denver for the New York Knicks. Paul suggested it playfully, one source said, but subsequent guests -- including Knicks power forward Amare Stoudemire and Anthony's brother, Robert -- made the point more forcefully.
Then Kroenke stood up to give a toast and the room was filled with an awkward silence, one wedding guest said. Kroenke tried to make light of the situation by suggesting Paul could come to Denver but that elicited no response.
While Anthony stood and applauded Kroenke when he was recognized, he apparently did nothing to discourage or dismiss the suggestions that he should leave the Nuggets.
"There were other people saying, 'We're going to get you guys together,' but it doesn't become a runaway train if Melo says something," said one source. "Maybe he didn't perpetuate it, but tell people to stop or say, 'Stan, I'm sorry.' He didn't do any of that."
Paul has since met with Hornets management and appears less eager to leave New Orleans, but all the signals from Anthony are that he would like to be in a different uniform this season.
Wedding signals included.
Anthony's agent, Leon Rose, could not be reached for comment and the Nuggets declined to comment.
