50 Cent’s ‘Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ Goes 8x Platinum

This was a historical week for 50 Cent and Hip Hop in general. Fiddy’s 2003 debut LP Get Rich Or Die Tryin has officially topped the 8 Million mark in sales. With this, it has become the 4th highest selling Rap album in Soundscan’s history following Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP (10,341,000) & The Eminem Show (9,928,000) and Nelly’s Country Grammar (8,489,000).
