Mississippi emcee/producer Big K.R.I.T. is ready to return with a new album titledCadillactica. He's currently in the studio with Organized Noize, DJ Toomp, Jim Jonson, Rico Love and others putting in work on it.

During a red carpet interview at the 2013 BET Hip Hop Awards withHipHopSince1987, K.R.I.T. spoke about being mentioned in Kendrick Lamar's"Control" verse.

"Hip Hop is competitive," K.R.I.T. said. "Everybody that he named, technically he's saying 'I'm not going to take you light at all.' And for me that's just letting you know if we get on that basketball court. I know you can shoot. I know you can shake me up, so I'mma be on my sh*t. I feel like I'm one of the best ever. You're supposed to feel like that."

Drake Explains He Fixed His Relationship With Nicki Minaj

Drake is doing the usual promo run after releasing his album earlier today and made a stop to talk to LA's very own, Big Boy.

The "Hold On" singer was asked about his line in the first song, "Tuscan Leather" where he states that his relationship with Nicki Minaj isn't the same anymore.

"I gotta stay with the family / Not even talkin' to Nicki / Communication is breakin' / I dropped the ball on some personal s***, I need to embrace it / I'm honest. I make mistakes. I'd be the second to admit it / Think that's why I need her in my life, to check me when I'm trippin'."

Asked about the line, Drake explained that "the album is a journey, so the first song is not where I'm at in my life right now,"

"I started this album a year and a half ago, and it did kind of go in chronological order, for the most part. That song kind of picks up at an earlier point in my life. I had done something that I had to just reevaluate and fix. We're good. We definitely talk. I saw her the other night. It was all love."

The rapper also explains that he "choose to express personal things in my music and I don't ever do it with malice." Note that this isn't the only line people are curious about asthe girl he mentions in "From Time" was recently uncovered.
