Songbird Jill Scott took a seat with the Breakfast Club radio show this morning (Sept. 19) to chat about working on two albums, upcoming collaborations, and being a fan of fellow Philly native Meek Mill. “He’s been dope for a long time and I wish him luck, and success, and focus," she said about the MMG rapper. "It’s hard to transition from being the underdog and not being noticed to being noticed everywhere.” The "Golden" singer also talked about her role in the upcoming flick Baggage Claim (due out Sept. 27), and her previous acting gigs as seen on HBO’s The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency and why the series ended after one season.
